We strive to:
Achieve excellence and quality in all our work through children learning in peace, partnership and respect
Give our children the best possible start to school in our Early Years Unit
Build systematically and progressively on these foundations so that the children achieve as much as they can
Provide a well organised, stimulating, caring and safe environment within which the children can learn and make good progress
Celebrate our children's achievements
Work in partnership with our parents and carers
In 2003 we celebrated our Golden Jubilee. To mark this occasion the children had the opportunity to work with an 'artist in residence' to create a mosaic plaque. You can see this piece of work in the gallery section. The Arts feature prominantly in life at Honilands and we are particularly proud to have been recently awarded a Silver Artsmark.
