The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational, forward thinking teacher and skilled leader who is dynamic and possesses all the qualities needed to assume a lead role in the ongoing success of this wonderful school.

The opportunity to become a Deputy Headteacher in this thriving school is as a result of a promotion to Headship of the previous two deputies -  one at St Bonaventure's and the other to another Catholic School in the Diocese of Brentwood.

The successful candidate will share responsibility for the daily management of the school, with the Headteacher, and will need to be prepared to lead school development in a number of vital areas which will be negotiated according to the strengths of the candidate.

We expect that you will have evidence of excellent classroom practice and high expectations of pupil attainment and, if  overseas trained, we would need evidence  that  your professional qualifications are recognised by NARIC and the NTA  in the UK.

St Bonaventure's was founded by the Order of Franciscans Minor in 1877 and is the second oldest day school for boys in London. We have a proven history of success in producing the very best scholars and developing the faith of all in the school. We have  a long and distinguished history of educating boys’, aged 11-16, in the East End of London.
