Job overview
Deputy Headteacher
Do you want to lead a new school whose innovation and outstanding passion for teaching has won a string of awards and accolades? At a school which brings life to the motto ‘Inspiring Learning’? Where the learning experience of every child is at the heart of everything we do?
The role of Deputy Head Pinner High School is as exciting as a role in education can possibly be. Your subject specialism is not important, your energy, optimism and enthusiasm are. The precise nature of your responsibilities will change over time, and will not sit neatly under a job title. You will be Deputy Head of the ‘unfinished’ Pinner High School, the most oversubscribed school in Harrow, in one of London’s most brilliant boroughs. Opportunities like this need to be seized.
Since opening in September 2016, we have gained the ‘EQ’ equalities award and the Investors in People Health and Wellbeing Award. We are proud to be an EcoSchool, Artsmark Silver Award holders, and Stonewall School Champions.
We were delighted to be judged Outstanding in all categories by Ofsted last summer, and by students, colleagues and parents before that.
The future for Pinner High School is bright and exciting!
