We are excited to have the opportunity to grow our excellent leadership team with the addition of a Deputy Headteacher - Head of School, a person with a proven track record in leadership and the energy and ambition to move to Headship in the future.

 

We are a dynamic, vibrant 11-18, 1460 student strong school with a collegiate and happy supportive staff, focused on building on our strengths for our students. This is the start of a new era for the school and you will be pivotal in our path to continuous improvement and outcomes, as we continue to provide a strong education for the community of the market town of Oswestry in idyllic rural Shropshire.

The Marches School is a successful, forward-thinking 11-18 Academy, with 1,460 students currently on roll. Located in the attractive border town of Oswestry, the school enjoys a semi-rural location, within walking distance of the town centre. In 2013, The Marches opened its doors to the school's first ever Sixth Formers and now delivers a broad range of A Levels to current students and those joining from other local 11-16 schools. The school boasts modern, spacious Sixth Form Facilities and excellent outcomes.
