This is an exciting and unique opportunity which provides an exciting career development opportunity for the successful candidate.

Working closely with the Chief Executive and the Headteacher you will assist in providing vision, leadership, and direction for the new centre. You will identify the priorities for the centre’s continuous improvement and ensure that The Aspire Centre is recognised for best practice in inclusive education. You will be committed to raising standards, ensuring equality of opportunity for all and developing policies and practices.

Kates Hill has access to a rich, relevant curriculum which will motivate and prepare pupils for life, providing a high quality, holistic education for all. The role of The Aspire Centre will be integral to our commitment to nurturing pupils’ aspirations and providing an inclusive learning environment where all children can flourish.

Kates Hill delivers a dynamic values-based education, and the new Aspire Centre will be at the very heart of this. The Trust’s core values permeate everything we do. They promote a culture of support and positivity which allow all children to make appropriate choices and to prepare them for the wider world.

Interviews will be held on Friday 16th February 2023.

Kates Hill is a large primary school situated in central Dudley, serving over 400 pupils.

At its last inspection, the school successfully retained its ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement. The Trust is building on this positive culture to create a thriving learning community which is now on its journey to outstanding.

Kates Hill stands out for the amount of outdoor learning that takes place. Forest School is all about building skills and confidence through regular sessions in the outdoors or outdoor classroom, where children can learn about the natural environment while tackling new challenges and gaining new experiences. The school also benefits from having an edible playground, where children can help to grow and pick fruit and vegetables.

Like all of the schools within Dudley Academies Trust, Kates Hill benefits from a comprehensive range of support from the Trust’s Central Team, covering everything from Teaching & Learning to Estates Management, IT, Safeguarding and Staff Development.
