Are you keen to develop your leadership potential in a supportive and forward thinking community?

We have a culture of high expectations, energy and enthusiasm and we are looking for a talented and committed individual keen to develop their leadership skills at this exciting time in our journey. Building on our long successful history, QES launched our sister school QEStudio in September 2017, alongside a new umbrella body, the Lunesdale Learning Trust. So these are exciting times to join us.

This role is a crucial strategic post for us with plenty of potential.   You would be joining a collaborative and committed Leadership Team who share the wonderful responsibility of keeping to the highest standards in all aspects of our vibrant and energetic community.

Bordering the Lakes and the Dales and yet surprisingly well connected, for over 400 years we have forged a strong community ethos providing ‘Scholarship and Care’. We’re immensely proud of our commitment to the highest quality teaching and learning coupled with extraordinary pastoral care.  We are a truly comprehensive community in which every child is cared for, supported and stretched, moving on to diverse destinations, from local apprenticeships and college courses to highly selective universities.

The specific area of responsibility of this post will reflect the skills and expertise of the successful candidate, along with the needs of the Leadership Team.

Applications are welcomed from well-qualified and highly motivated individuals who are keen to work with remarkable young people providing an exceptional education for all.

If you wish to apply, please complete all sections of the 'Quick Apply' application form by 12 noon on Monday 18th March. In your supporting statement we would like you to include:

We hope to hold interviews on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th March.

Morning visits can also be arranged on either Thursday 14th or Friday 15th March.

If you require further information or wish to discuss any issues, please do feel free to get in touch on 015242 71275 or email Ellie Clifton on recruitment@qes.org.uk  who can also arrange a conversation with Cathy O'Neill, the Headteacher should you want one.

We do hope you will take the time to apply.  This is a marvellous place to work and it is a very exciting opportunity.  We look forward to meeting you in the near future.
