Leadership pay scale point L14 – L18 (£62,111 - £67,851) + £4,142 non-residential allowance

Following the promotion of the current postholder to the position of Headteacher for a new special school, the governors are looking to appoint an experienced senior leader to the post of Deputy Headteacher.

Woodeaton Manor School is a day/residential school for pupils aged 7 to 18. We are a maintained special school. The school provides education for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. These include attachment disorder; autism spectrum disorder; anxiety; dyspraxia; obsessive compulsive disorder; specific learning difficulties; and speech and language disorder. Despite these challenges, we strongly believe that our pupils will become contributing members of their communities and fulfil their potential.

The school is situated just outside Oxford in the beautiful village of Woodeaton.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious senior leader to help lead our school in the next stage of its development.

We are committed to recruiting candidates who share our commitment to safeguarding. Our recruitment policy reflects this, and the successful applicant will go through an enhanced criminal records check.

Closing date for application: Noon, Friday 7th October 2022

Interviews: Week commencing Monday 10th October 2022
