We are looking for a transformational senior leader who will play a vital part in our academy to help us improve the lives of young people who have faced multiple barriers to learning. Someone who will lead by example and challenge us to deliver the very best learning opportunities for our pupils.  

The successful candidate will:   

  • work closely with the Headteacher to share our strategic vision with staff, pupils, parents/carers and key stakeholders in the community and help make our ambitious plans for the academy a reality   
  • demonstrate a high level of understanding of what constitutes an outstanding quality of education 
  • demonstrate the highest quality of teaching, learning and assessment in your own practice – inspiring both our staff and pupils  
  • have significant experience of, and a deep passion for, inclusive practice  
  • take responsibility for one site in our provision daily   
  • set high expectations - champion best practice and demand ambitious standards for our pupils, ensuring that we positively improve their live chances   
  • be a transformational leader who can coach teachers - motivating our staff to develop dynamic and reflective practice.
