Deputy Headteacher

Christchurch Primary are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Deputy Headteacher with exceptional leadership qualities to come and work in our school. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated Leadership Team and staff that strive to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Christchurch Primary School is a very successful large five form entry school with a nursey. We pride ourselves on our strong community links and are heavily oversubscribed. This post is an exciting opportunity for a new Deputy Headteacher to work with us to achieve our strategic aims and priorities.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:

• Will put children at the heart of all they do
• Will provide inspirational leadership 
• Has a commitment to working collaboratively with all staff to inspire, enable and empower them to achieve high standards
• Will have high aspirations for all our pupils 
• Has the ability to communicate effectively and work with parents and different groups of people in the community 
• Can think strategically and contribute to creating a coherent school vision
• Has excellent knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum across the whole Primary school
• Has strong experience in leadership 
• Will work with the Headteacher to raise the quality of teaching and learning and pupil’s achievement
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
