Deputy Headteacher

Christchurch Primary are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Deputy Headteacher with exceptional leadership qualities to come and work in our school. The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated Leadership Team and staff that strive to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Christchurch Primary School is a very successful large five form entry school with a nursey. We pride ourselves on our strong community links and are heavily oversubscribed. This post is an exciting opportunity for a new Deputy Headteacher to work with us to achieve our strategic aims and priorities.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:

• Will work in partnership with the Headteacher to provide inspirational Leadership
• Has an excellent knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum across the whole Primary school
• Strong experience in leadership and working in a team
• Can provide inspirational leadership in key areas and on key initiatives in school
• Can think strategically and contribute to creating a coherent school vision
• Will work with the Headteacher to raise the quality of teaching and learning and pupils achievement
• Will have high aspirations for all pupils
• Has a commitment to working collaboratively with all staff to inspire, enable and empower them to achieve high standards
• Has the ability to communicate effectively and work with parents and different groups of people in the community
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour
• Really enjoys working with children
