Yewlands Academy, part of the Wakefield City Academies Trust, achieved its best ever GCSE results in 2016 and is looking to build on this progress going forward.

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional school leader who will lead on Teaching and Learning and be instrumental in driving the improvements required to move the school forward.  As this is a sole deputy position it is excellent preparation for future headship.

We are looking for an excellent leader, who is motivated and passionate about learning and determined to make a difference to our students.

Yewlands Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form based in Grenoside, Sheffield.  A relatively small secondary academy, Yewlands provides 900 places to secondary students.
