This is an exciting opportunity to join our Academy, where putting students first is part of our fundamental culture. We strongly believe that positive outcomes for our students come from the professionalism, commitment and passion for excellence displayed by our staff.
We are looking for an outstanding Deputy Headteacher who will also be the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
The post is a key strategic role within the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for securing the key strategic objectives of the Academy. In addition, the Deputy Headteacher will provide strategic development, as designated safeguarding lead, of the Academy’s ‘trauma informed schools’ approach, monitoring behaviour, line managing the SENCo, and oversight of the day to day operation with the aim of raising achievement.
You will also need to have good leadership and management skills and the ability to inspire and develop colleagues in order to raise standards. You would be working within a supportive team of committed teachers and support staff.
