Deputy Headteacher

We are really excited to be building on our recent appointment of a permanent Headteacher by strengthening our senior leadership team further. A pivotal post we are now seeking to recruit to is the Deputy Headteacher of Hilltop School. At this exciting time for the school, we want to appoint a talented, tenacious and aspirational Deputy Headteacher to work with the Headteacher and governors in leading the school to the next level of excellence.

Hilltop School is a highly successful and passionately child-centred special school for children and young people with severe learning difficulties and complex special educational needs. Hilltop serves 116 amazing children and young people from EYFS through to Key Stage 5 who are very well-supported by a highly dedicated and hard-working team of professionals. Hilltop has exceptionally strong partnerships with the schools in Nexus and also in local the Maltby Learning Community. This includes co-located Early Years Foundation Stage provision at Maltby Redwood Academy.

Hilltop is a school within Nexus Multi Academy Trust, a MAT it co-founded in June 2016.

At Hilltop, we believe in holistic support for children and families, with a focus on all aspects of a child’s life: their education, their health, and their social needs; we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who not only shares these values, but who actively pursues their delivery.
