Are you ready to be part of an educational community that creates an environment where children can flourish? We know the importance of developing our colleagues to be the best they can be to ensure our children achieve the best outcomes.  We are looking for an inspirational Deputy Headteacher to be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), supporting the Headteacher with the strategic leadership of the Academy.

 

Key responsibilities:


Reporting to the Headteacher, the post holder will be accountable for:


  • Supporting the Headteacher in developing and implementing the vision and strategic direction of the Academy
  • Ensuring the Academy is always fully compliant in all areas of Safeguarding
  • Ensuring all information required by SLT, the Regional Education Director and other key colleagues is produced accurately, timely and efficiently.
  • Providing strategic leadership for overseeing and embedding quality and standards in teaching, learning and assessment across the academy.

 

Pay range: L18-23 (£71,729.00 - £81,070.00)

 

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent
  • Senior leadership or management qualification (or willing to work towards)
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and challenge colleagues, peers and teams
  • Ability to promote a positive ethos and attributes
