All Hallows Catholic School is a mixed, voluntary-aided comprehensive school and Sixth Form College. In 2021 we celebrated 60 years of providing our students with an outstanding academic and spiritual education, focused on learning to make the world a better place.

The Governing Body seek to appoint a Deputy Headteacher from September 2022. The successful candidate will be an outstanding leader with a proven track record of providing an academic and spiritual education for the whole child. They will be enthusiastic and determined to continue to drive the school forward as a centre of excellence of Catholic education and academic achievement. They will be keen to share in our whole-school journey as we further enhance our ethos, vision and values.

All Hallows is blessed with wonderful students. Our staff are committed and talented, and our Senior Leadership Team and Governors are focused on ensuring the pastoral care and educational achievements of our students remain at the forefront of all that we do.

We are seeking a practising Catholic with strong links to their own parish, who understands the importance of linking the Catholic faith to the mission of All Hallows, and bringing the wider All Hallows Family together.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of working in a Senior Leadership role

• A clear commitment to nurturing and promoting the school’s distinctive Catholic ethos

• Skills in developing and maintaining strong staff and leadership teams

• A commitment to the pursuit of excellence for all our students, both in school and in the wider world

• Ability to foster effective relationships with all our stakeholders

• Management experience including financial and strategic planning

• Outstanding OFSTED in 2011 and 2014

• Outstanding Section 48 Inspection in 2016

• Outstanding results at both GCSE and A Level

• Progress which has been consistently “Well Above Average” for more than 10 years

• Dedicated Sixth Form Centre
