DEPUTY HEADTEACHER (Required for September 2018) 

Leadership Scale L17 – L21 £58,389 – £64,417  

The Trustees are seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious leader with a clear vision and passion for learning who can make a major contribution to the continued development of our school and the work of our multi-academy trust. We are an ambitious and forward thinking school. For example we have recently submitted a bid to become a Teaching School and are leading the MAT and other partner schools to prepare a SSIF bid. 

We are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to our Senior Team. You will be the sole deputy Headteacher working with the Headteacher to lead a team of 6 Assistant Headteachers. Applications are invited from outstanding teachers who are well qualified, self-motivated leaders with vision, ambition and drive. 

You will be responsible for working with the Headteacher and senior team on both strategy and day to day management of the school. 

The remit of the role will be designed to fully utilize the successful candidate’s skills and expertise. 

The school is a 13-18 School with 1100 students on roll (including over 300 in the Sixth Form)  Thomas Alleyne's High School has a 3 year track record of students making significantly positive progress at GCSE.
