Deputy Headteacher

Our headteacher, newly arrived for the Summer term, is seeking to strengthen our senior leadership team. In return we can offer a role that will providing strong development opportunities and potential for growth for a teacher with outstanding leadership skills.

Our academy comprises a single-form entry primary school and two headteacher run businesses: our nursery for children aged 2 to 4 and our ‘wrap-around’ childcare facility for both pre-school and school age children. 

The academy serves a catchment area of some 1,400 homes in Tanworth-in-Arden and Earlswood with 216 pupils in the school and 50 children in our teacher-led nursery. We became a ‘converter’ academy in 2012. At our last Ofsted inspection (Autumn 2014) both our school and nursery were judged outstanding in all areas. 

We are situated in extensive grounds in the beautiful village of Tanworth in Arden, yet despite the rural setting we are still close to Birmingham, Solihull and Stratford upon Avon.
