Deputy Headteacher

Welcome to St George’s (Hanover Square). St George’s is a school rich in tradition but also looking towards the future. We cater for up to 210 pupils from Reception to Form 6. St George’s is set in the heart of Mayfair, near Berkeley Square and Mount Street Gardens. Our pupils come from a range of backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures and we celebrate this throughout the year. Teaching and support staff also represent the diversity that London holds. Being in central London allows us wonderful opportunities, and through many partnerships, our pupils are exposed to amazing opportunities, such as horse riding in Hyde Park and visiting Michelin Star Restaurants. Our Christian ethos is vitally important to us and we have very strong links with the local churches. 

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher that sees teaching and learning at the centre of the role. We would like someone who is hardworking, flexible and willing to lend their hand to anything. We are looking for an outstanding teacher who has leadership experience and who wants to take the next step in their career. They need to be able to support and challenge staff in order to improve pupil outcomes. We would expect the successful candidate to fully support the Christian ethos of the school.
