Ken Stimpson Community School are seeking to appoint a Deputy Inclusion Manager who is highly motivated, works well with young adults who find elements of school life difficult, supporting the leadership of the inclusion team to ensure students continue with their learning and maintain a quality of education, whilst ensuring the school’s high expectations are rigorously and consistently enforced.
The successful candidate will help lead the inclusion unit to facilitate learning for students who are unable to access their normal lessons, establish a calm and productive working environment and support students by responding to their individual needs. To manage the environment and resources of the provision, so that students have the best chances to improve. Confidence, leadership qualities, communication skills and resilience are essential characteristics for this role. The post is supported by the Senior Leadership Team and Pastoral Team within school.
Our support staff are vital to ensuring that our pupils achieve their full potential and become confident, resilient, and compassionate individuals who can make a positive contribution to society. You need to have extremely high expectations to ensure pupils, regardless of gender, ethnicity, and religion, achieve to the best of their ability.

The Ken Stimpson Academy is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Peterborough in Cambridgeshire and there are 1020 pupils on its roll.
