We are seeking an exceptional leader with unwavering dedication, positivity and initiative to assist in the development and growth of our Academy. Oasis is one of the UK’s largest Multi-Academy Trusts. This is an exciting time to join the Oasis family as our sustained improvement has risen from 30% of our schools ‘Good’ or better to over 70% in the last two years.

Sporting roots

Oasis Academy Arena is a co-educational secondary school, which opened in 2015. Staff are dedicated to helping students make the most out of their time at school. Situated in South Norwood, adjacent to the Croydon Arena Athletics track, the Academy will deliver an innovative curriculum specialising in sports and the sciences.

Growth and development

We currently have a total of 270 students on roll in years 7 and 8, 55% of whom are in receipt of the Pupil Premium and 11% of students are classified as DSEN. The Academy has a Designated Resource Provision for 15 students with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

The academy will grow to 900 students on roll, with post-16 provision offered through the partnership with Oasis Academy Shirley Park.

As Deputy Principal you will also be a forward-facing community figure within the local Oasis Hub. Helping to build relationships with local leaders, you will have the opportunity to influence the lives of our young people and the extended community.
