Job overview

With our Deputy Principal, Sean Corcoran, taking over as our next Principal from January 2023, Redlands seeks to appoint his successor.

Founded in 1884, Redlands is a vibrant coeducational school on Sydney’s Lower North Shore with 1,780 students from Preschool to Year 12. We are preparing our young people to be ready to take their place in the world as collaborative and creative thinkers and to let their light shine, through the provision of a world recognised, contemporary education. We are a warm, inclusive and internationally minded community.

Our strong academic emphasis is complemented by a diversity of cocurricular programs that provide outstanding opportunities beyond the classroom and by an environment in which every student is known and individually nurtured.

The Deputy Principal will be highly visible with staff, students and families, supporting the Principal in whole-of-school initiatives, strategy, planning, policies, governance and the implementation of our current strategic plan. A major area of focus will be overseeing our approach to wellbeing from Preschool to Year 12. They will have ample opportunity to broaden their own leadership capabilities.

Odgers Berndtson is assisting Redlands with this appointment. More information on the role can be found at http://www.odgers.com/86727. For a confidential conversation, please contact Jane Harlen on +61 2 8905 3711.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 4 September 2022.
