A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic Deputy SENDCo to join a high-potential school on a transformational improvement journey.

As Deputy SENDCo, you will lead, develop and support effective practice for students with particular learning needs to ensure their learning needs are addressed in the most effective way and, where appropriate, they are able to make rapid progress in line with the academy’s expectations.

The post holder will maintain a teaching timetable of approximately 15 lessons a week, modelling outstanding practice in terms of classroom teaching, preparation, marking and assessment.

The opportunity:

We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Deputy SENDCo to help realise our ambitious vision and make Ark Evelyn Grace Academy a world class school. You will have significant skills, drive and a proven track record that has secured strong outcomes for students.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the network and will feed into the development of excellent practice beyond Ark Evelyn Grace.

School Structure

The school has a small leadership team that comprises of the Principal, two Vice Principals and two Assistant Principals. Each subject area is lead by a Head of Department and year groups are led by a Director of Learning (Head of Year).
