Rise@GHC are looking to appoint a talented, dynamic and innovative teacher to the post of Deputy SENDCo. This specialist unit serves pupils aged 11-19 with high functioning autistic spectrum conditions living in Bracknell Forest and other local authorities. The centre is part of Garth Hill College, but operated in dedicated buildings within a fifteen minute walk and five minute drive of the main Garth Hill site. We were recently rated ‘good’ by Ofsted in May 2019.

As Deputy SENDCo, the appointed person will on occasion deputise for the SENDCo and support the SENDCo in providing day-to-day strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of Rise @GHC SEND provision. You will possess great experience and expertise in the area of SEND and inclusion and will be able to further enhance the College’s work in the delivery of the SEND curriculum. You will provide line management for the others in the Rise@GHC Team.
