Design & Technology Specific Teaching Assistant Level 3 - Special Educational Needs (SEMH)

Woodlands School is a maintained special school (11 – 16 SEMH) situated in a beautiful rural area of North Shropshire.

We are seeking to appoint a creative and skilled Design and Technology specific Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be required to provide practical and technical support for teaching staff in the delivery of high quality learning experiences as well as assisting with the social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs of our pupils. Interested applicants must have previous practical experience working with Resistant Materials. We would expect the successful candidate to have a minimum of Grade C in English and Maths.

Salary: Grade 6 scp 18 – 21 £9.27 to £10.34 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week, Term time only
Contract: Permanent
