ABC Teachers is seeking a Design and Technology Teacher to join a forward thinking and well-established independent school in Birmingham. This is a full time role starting in September 2021. If you have a genuine passion for teaching Design and Technology, this is the school to join! 

About the role:

  • Design and Technology Teacher for Key Stage 3, 4 and 5
  • A focus on Resistant Materials
  • Full time, ongoing position beginning in September
  • Access to a workshop, classroom and computer suite within the same vicinity

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and previous experience teaching Design and Technology.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service. 

About the school:

  • Students out perform nationally in every subject and sit their GCSE examinations in Year 10

About you:

  • Have a genuine interested and passion for Design and Technology and be able to enthuse students in the subject
  • Suitable for experienced and early career Design and Technology Teachers
  • Must be suitably qualified to teach Design and Technology with Qualified Teacher Status from a PGCE or similar degree
  • Must be able to obtain relevant references and a DBS check
