We have an exciting opportunity for you to work in this outstanding department which produces excellent results at GCSE and A level. We believe exceptional teachers transform lives, so we are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Design and Technology (Resistant Materials and/ or Graphics) to join a dynamic, innovative and supportive department with high expectations and achievements. The post would suit someone with experience or an NQT for whom a full induction program is provided. The school offers the support for career progression and excellent resources.

Our students are happy and make excellent progress.  OFSTED graded the school ‘good’ in all areas and the sixth form as ‘outstanding’ in our recent inspection. Our results in Design and Technology are consistently amongst the top in Hampshire. 

Design and Technology subjects are popular and successful options at GCSE and A Level with Resistant Materials, Graphics, and Food Technology all offered. The ability to deliver Resistant Materials and/or Graphics to GCSE and A level is essential.  The ability to teach Food Technology at KS3 could be an advantage.
