Design & Technology Technician

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Design Technology Technician to join our thriving DT department, co-ordinating the provision of support to students in lessons and technical support to teaching staff, ensuring materials are prepared for practical lessons, equipment and resources are properly maintained and all Health & Safety requirements are met.

The ideal candidate would be someone with experience of using a wide range of machinery, tools and equipment and a passion for working with young people. You may be an experienced technician, having worked in a school or equivalent previously. You will, in any case, be someone who is well organised, practical and efficient, able to communicate well and flourish in a varied environment.

Bryanston School is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 13 to 18, set in a 400-acre site near Blandford Forum in Dorset. Founded in 1928, the school aims above all to develop the all-round talents of individual pupils.
