We are seeking to appoint a Design & Technology Technician to support our very experienced Design & Technology Department.
The department delivers Food Nutrition GCSE, Engineering Btec and Design & Technology GCSE at KS4, and a variety of Design & Technology based projects at KS3. Experience in supporting these courses is therefore desired.
This is a varied post involving all aspects of preparing for and supporting practical lessons, the stock keeping and ordering of resources, and the maintenance of equipment and workshops in compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Industry specific experience would be an advantage, although training will be offered. Excellent organisation and time management skills and a proactive approach are essential, as is a commitment to supporting students and colleagues.
