Actual Salary £15,407 - £16,897pa

Hours of work 32.5 hours per week x 38 weeks p.a. plus 18 hours (Training Days) 

8.30am – 3.30pm daily, 1253 hrs p.a. (74.58 %FTE)

We are looking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to be responsible for the preparation of teaching materials, stock control and the maintenance of tools and machines for the department. There will also be some involvement with lessons and extra curricular clubs, supporting teaching staff and students. The department is extremely well equipped with a wide range of machinery including vacuum formers, band saws, pillar drills, laser cutters and 3D printers. The technician should ideally be comfortable working with all tools and machinery in the department, although training will be provided.
