As Technology subjects are optional at KS4 students visit the subject for three, 100 minute lessons over the fortnightly rotation. We also provide our students with a range of BTEC options at KS5 to help students build dynamic portfolios in preparation for further education.
As a department of eight we can offer an exciting and creative learning environment both for staff and students, and are looking for someone to join with a passion and flair for the subject and a drive to move it forward.
Annual trips and an extensive range of extra curricular activities are also used to open the eyes of our students; success in local and national competitions also helps to embed the department’s positive ethos.
As a growing department we aim to continue to raise the aspirations of our students, with proposals to expand our sixth form offer in the coming years we are looking for a candidate that can teach all the way from 11-18years, a variety of backgrounds and skills sets will be considered.
