Smart Teachers is recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher to join a high achieving secondary school in Bracknell, Berkshire. The desired Design Technology Teacher will have experience in teaching resistant materials, graphics and or product design. Starting from September 2017 the design technology teacher will be joining the school on a long term full time contract until the end of the academic year. There is also potential for this role to term into a permanent position at the end of the long term contract.

In order to be considered for this role, the Design Technology Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Experienced in resistant materials, graphics and/or product design (desirable)
  • Have proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • Experiences/OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
  • Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
