Smart Teachers is recruiting for a knowledgeable Design Technology Teacher to join an improving school in Richmond, South West London. This full time position is available to start in January. The position will ideally be permanent; although, the start date is negotiable. 

About the Role

  • Design Technology Teacher
  • Full time teaching responsibilities 
  • KS3 and KS4 only 
  • The timetable will be made up of Product Design and Food Technology, although mostly Product Design 
  • Permanent contract ideally 
  • Pay to scale – depending on experience 
  • MPS fringe plus TLR available 
  • NQTs welcome to apply

In order to be considered for this role, the Design Technology Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Proven experience teaching the UK or equivalent curriculum
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
