The Designated Safeguarding Lead is a term time only position – working 39 weeks of the year. The salary advertised is the actual salary you will be paid in 12 equal instalments.

More about the role

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic specialist who can continue to support students with individual needs and to ensure they achieve and believe in themselves, as well as preparing them for the next steps and adulthood.

As a Designated Safeguarding Lead within our school, you will be providing professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes across Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will be playing your part in helping the school achieve its aims and values. You will be delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from the leadership team.

What do you need?

We are looking for a committed Designated Safeguarding Lead with a belief that all our children and young people deserve an outstanding education regardless of their past experiences. In-depth knowledge will be key to this role surrounding Keeping Children Safe in Education. They will uphold our inclusive ethos and provide opportunities via support for all our pupils to progress well.
