Ardingly College have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Development Fundraising Manager to join our highly successful and thriving School on a part-time basis from January 2019. The principal purpose of this role is to assist the Headmaster and Governors in fundraising for the College and specifically for the celebration of the 150th anniversary in 2020.
The Development Fundraising Manager will develop key relationships through networking, organise events and secure support for the College’s development aims. In doing so, they will play an important role in transforming lives and making a difference for the children who become the beneficiaries of the College’s charitable purpose.
The post would suit someone with proven project management experience and a track record of supporting and delivering projects or campaigns efficiently and within budget. Development or fundraising experience, and ideally an understanding of the education sector would be an advantage. Excellent organisation and administrative skills, strong communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to network and influence effectively will be highly valued.
The successful candidate needs to be highly motivated to make a difference both for the College and for future generations of children as beneficiaries of the College’s educational charity. Commitment to the aims and purpose of Ardingly College is also a requirement of this exciting new role.
The hours of work are flexible but expected to be around 25 hours per week, for 40 weeks per year.
