This is an exciting opportunity to join our Qualifications Development team within Cambridge International. Our dynamic team reviews and develops qualifications taken in 160 countries, including IGCSE, O Levels and International AS & A Levels.

We are looking for Qualifications Developers to join our collaborative and supportive team. The role can be adapted to support a variety of skills and career stages, with duties and responsibilities being dependent on experience.

About the role

We are looking for Qualifications Developers to work on the development of a range of qualifications across our 14-19 suite. Depending on experience, you will be leading a range of qualification projects, developing syllabuses and sample assessments to time, quality and budget.

You will have the opportunity to work to improve our syllabuses, assessments and customer experience. This will include liaising on behalf of the team with colleagues, managing external consultants and stakeholder relationships, subject research, commissioning and reviewing materials, budgeting and time management. The role will be tailored to the successful candidates' experience with opportunities to grow as a Qualifications Developer.

About you

We welcome applicants from a range of professional backgrounds. Experience in the education sector is essential.

You will:

  • be educated at least to degree level (or equivalent)
  • have a background in education, teaching, publishing or assessment
  • have previous experience of creating high quality documents for publication
  • have excellent experience of managing projects, either in an administrative or leadership capacity

Your attributes will include:

  • Confidence, influencing skills and initiative
  • Be able to collaborate on or run your own complex projects.

Subject expertise in Languages, English as a Second Language or Technology would be an advantage for the Qualifications Development Manager role.
