Ashville College is an award-winning, co-educational, independent day school for pupils aged 2–18. The college, set in 70-acres in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, comprises an Early Years provision, Prep School and Senior School and Sixth Form. The school is a registered charity, administered by Ashville College Trustees.
Ashville College was founded in 1877 as a boarding school for boys by the United Methodist Free Church. Expansion over the decades culminated in a merger with Elmfield College, Harrogate, in the 1930s, by which time Ashville was the largest private school in the north of England. In 1982 the school became co-educational and in the last five years, a new era has been established as Ashville has become a growing and successful day school confidently investing in development for the future.

ISI
“Achievement in academic subjects and in a wide range of sport and activities is outstanding in the Pre-Prep and Junior School, and good, sometimes excellent, in the Senior School. Outcomes for children in the EYFS Reception classes are outstanding. This success is supported by a comprehensive and carefully planned curriculum, a wide range of activities at every level in the college, and by much good and outstanding teaching.”
