Headington School is seeking to appoint a dynamic individual to the role of Development Officer (Regular Giving).
The aim of this role is to increase philanthropic income to Headington by growing the number of donors who give regularly and to increase the number of members of the School community who make legacy pledges.
This is a new post which offers the opportunity for involvement at the heart of a leading independent school and to work with an experienced Director of Development and his team in a busy and stimulating environment.
The post would suit somebody who has previous experience of working in fundraising, ideally in an educational organisation such as a university or school.
The successful candidate will be dynamic, well-organised, have high levels of initiative, a proactive approach and strong written and verbal communication skills. He/she will be able to work independently and will have the personal qualities and confidence needed to work successfully across the School. The successful candidate will be skilled at managing projects and getting things done, with a willing, flexible, can-do approach to their work. This role would suit someone who is ambitious to reach the highest levels in the Development profession.
