The Marketing Officer for our school plays a pivotal role in driving enrollment and enhancing the institution's brand. Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, the officer will create compelling content, manage social media platforms, and coordinate promotional events. Collaborating with admissions and academic teams, they will identify target audiences, analyze market trends, and conduct competitor research to inform effective campaigns. The role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and a keen understanding of the education sector. The Marketing Officer will contribute to the school's growth by increasing visibility, engaging with stakeholders, and fostering a positive image within the community.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop a Marketing Plan:

·      Identify target demographics and create strategies to reach them.

·      Set clear goals and objectives for your marketing efforts.

·      Allocate a budget for marketing initiatives.

 

2. Online Presence:

·      Maintain and update the school's website regularly with relevant information.

·      Utilise social media platforms to engage with current and prospective students, parents, and the community.

·      Implement digital marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, online ads, and content marketing.


3. Branding:

·      Develop and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity for the school.

·      Highlight the school's unique selling points and strengths.

·      Ensure all marketing materials align with the established brand guidelines.

 

4. Events and Open Houses:

·      Organise events, open houses, and campus tours to showcase the school's facilities and programs.

·      Encourage current students, parents, and staff to participate and share their positive experiences.

 

5. Community Engagement:

·      Build relationships with local businesses, community organisations, and other schools.

·      Attend community events and sponsor relevant activities to increase the school's visibility.

 

6. Collaborate with Admissions:

·      Work closely with the admissions team to understand enrolment goals and tailor marketing efforts accordingly.

·      Create compelling materials to support the admissions process.

 

7. Public Relations:

·      Develop press releases and maintain relationships with local media outlets.

·      Showcase student achievements, faculty accomplishments, and other positive stories about the school.

 

8. Feedback and Analysis:

·      Collect and analyse data on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

·      Seek feedback from current students, parents, and staff to continuously improve marketing strategies.

 

9. Partnerships:

·      Explore partnerships with educational influencers, LinkedIn, and local organisations.

·      Leverage parent networks for testimonials and support.

 

10. Compliance and Ethics:

·      Ensure all marketing materials comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

·      Maintain transparency and honesty in all communication.

Qualifications:

 

·      A bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, relevant experience, and education sector knowledge

·      Key skills include digital marketing, creativity, strong communication, and adaptability. Adept at event planning, teamwork, and analysing data.

·      Advanced degrees and specific sector experience may be preferred.
