An outstanding opportunity presents itself for an innovative and visionary leader to join Dulwich International High School Suzhou (DHSZ), located in a modern first tier city near Shanghai that ranks as having the sixth highest GDP in China. DHSZ opened in 2012 and moved to a new purpose-built which it shares with its sister school, Dulwich College Suzhou. DHSZ is a co-educational day and boarding school educating around 800 students aged 14 to 19, the majority of whom are Chinese nationals. The school is academically selective and provides three or four-year university preparatory courses leading to the IGCSE and A-Level examinations.  Students consistently achieve excellent results, thereby gaining entry to some of the world’s most prestigious universities, principally in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. The school seeks to inspire its students to become leader of the future who will build bridges to other cultures and Live Worldwise.

As part of the Dulwich College International network, DHSZ is able to offer both students and staff opportunities that a single school would not be able to provide. DCI has developed a comprehensive school leadership system that provides individual schools with independence and autonomy while at the same time ensuring each College embraces their Worldwise philosophy. The Director is a member of the DCI Steering Group, which helps shape network educational initiatives across the College and High School programmes.

Starting in August 2020, the successful candidate will be an established leaders and educator who inspires individuals, understands international contexts, places students first and ensures that teaching and learning is at the heart of all their decision making. Dulwich College International welcomes applicants from a diversity of curriculum contexts.
