Job overview
Derby Teaching Schools Alliance is an established, broad and inclusive multiple Teaching School Alliance working with over 100 schools from all phases. We are a not for profit Charitable Incorporated Organisation and we care deeply about improving learning for all. DTSA is organised through a number of Strategic Advisory Groups which feed into the DTSA Board. The Board consists of Headteachers of our four nationally designated Teaching Schools covering all phases, along with Headteacher representatives from our Strategic Advisory Groups. The Alliance has at its heart a sustained focus on developing open and trusting collaboration that contributes to raising the bar and closing the gap in achievement for all children across our locality. DTSA continues to grow and we are now looking to appoint a Director to lead our work and make a difference to children's educational provision locally, regionally and nationally. This new, substantive role is an exciting opportunity to inspire and lead the DTSA onto the next phase of development as we continue to be a key organisation in improving outcomes for children.
For more information see our website DTSA.org.uk or call Debbie Gerring, Chair of the Board on 01332 571151
Closing date 9th April at 8.00am.
Interviews will take place on 19th April at St Martins School, Derby.
