E-ACT are seeking an inspirational, professional and dynamic individual to join the National Team. We are looking to appoint a Director of Attendance & Behaviour who will work within the Education Directorate to ensure that the quality of education across all our secondary academies is good.

 

About the role

The post holder will have an unrelenting focus on shaping and driving the Trust’s achievement strategy at a senior level. The post holder will lead all aspects of E-ACT attendance strategy, data and intervention and be responsible for leading on all aspects of E-ACT behaviour strategy, culture and interventions.

 

Our ideal candidate

You will need a professional teaching qualification. You will need significant previous leadership experience within a large organisation.

In-depth knowledge of an education setting and be a specialist in advising and supporting the academies and Headteachers within your region, knowledge and experience of quality management systems. High professional standards with an ability to give critical advice to help raise standards. Understanding of effective attendance and behaviour strategies. Enthusiasm for improvement of attendance and behaviour and staff development.

 

The successful candidate

The successful candidate will need to have demonstrated their personal attributes (contained within the person specification) and how these will be used to enable positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders. You will be expected to engage confidently and professionally with a range of regional and national colleagues as well as academy staff and ambassadors.
