We are delighted to offer a unique and exciting opportunity for the Director of ICT and Computer Science across the United Lancashire Cluster of schools. Primarily this role will be based at Accrington Academy but will include leadership at The Hyndburn Academy. The two United Learning academies are working closely together to shape educational opportunities for all students. 

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, we are now looking for an inspirational and ambitious individual to drive this integral subject area. ICT and Computer Science are popular subjects at Key Stages 4 and 5. Accrington has an ICT rich learning environment including, dedicated suites, film studio, radio station, Student I-Pads and interactive technology in every classroom. The Academy also has outstanding network management ensuring an effective and efficient system maintains outstanding facilities.

The Academy is a forward thinking school in relation to technology to support learning. We are keen to explore how technology can provide an inspirational learning experience for all our students and staff.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced or aspirational practitioner who is looking for the next steps into leadership.
