Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Director of Development, from March 2020, to drive fundraising and to build upon existing alumni relations and support.  Development will play a key part in the School’s strategic vision, Whitgift 2025, to ensure fundraising ambitions are realised.  Whitgift 2025 includes major development of the School site and an increased commitment to Outreach, therefore the School will require ongoing funding to ensure we achieve our aims.

A generous salary will be offered, reflecting both the significant responsibilities involved and the qualities of the candidate.

Whitgift is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys, with approximately 1500 pupils including over one hundred boarding pupils and flexi-boarding pupils.  It is set in an attractive 48-acre parkland site in South Croydon enjoying excellent links to London, Surrey and the south coast.
