St Lawrence College has been transformed in recent years through significant investment in new facilities and a large growth in pupil numbers. The appointment of a Director of Development will add further impetus by establishing a member of senior management to oversee external fund-raising and the management of relationships with former pupils and other stakeholders.
Reporting to the Principal, the successful applicant is likely to have prior experience in some combination of fundraising for capital projects, charitable work, sales and marketing; they will be comfortable with presentations at Board level and able to network comfortably with high net worth individuals.
A clear attachment to the ethos of St Lawrence College is essential.

A competitive salary is offered, with the opportunity to earn a performance related bonus and other benefits such as pension, medical scheme and a generous school fee remission. It is expected that the initial appointment will be for three years potentially renewable thereafter.
