Giggleswick School is seeking to appoint a Director of Development.
Giggleswick School has a long history benefaction and has developed and growth through the generosity of old Gigglewickians and the wider community since it was established in 1512.
The school is looking to appoint a suitable qualified person to take forward and build upon the strong foundation laid by the previous incumbent in the role and take the schools development department and activities to the next level as the school enters a new ambitious period of capital project development.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced fundraiser to join a forward looking educational setting as we enter a step up in our development activities.
The successful candidate will have experience of developing successful implementation plans and achieving targets and a provable ability to elicit major gifts and donations. The demonstrable ability to influence and persuade people and experience of developing concepts and taking them from concept to delivery are also essential requirements for this position.
Guide range for starting salary £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (can be discussed further at interview stage).
