This new and exciting role has been created to accommodate the growing pupil numbers and interest in Drama. We are seeking an inspiring, dynamic and experienced Drama practitioner and teacher who wants to make this role their own and develop their skills as both an academic and co-curricular leader.
The Director of Drama will be committed to achieving excellent results for students studying GCSE and IB Theatre Arts, and developing further the already strong tradition of drama productions at KESW. In addition to leading staff in the department, teaching and overseeing all areas of Drama and Theatre study, the Director of Drama will promote a lifelong love of theatre as spectator and participant in all students.
King Edward's School is a co-educational boarding and day school for some 420 pupils, around 62% of whom are full boarders.
