An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of internal specialist directors at Co-op Academies Trust. We are looking for an outstanding leader and practitioner of early years with a proven track record of securing improvements in pupils’ outcomes. This is a crucial role within our academy improvement strategy.
The successful candidate will work directly with the early years leaders and teachers across our academies to identify the strengths and priorities for improvement. This is a pivotal role involving modelling and sharing the best early years practice to drive academy improvement. The successful candidate will help our primary academies to build their own sustainable capacity, including through delivering regular professional development sessions.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about the statutory framework for early years, early years curriculum design, the phonics and reading curriculum, assessment, and the Education Inspection Framework expectations. This will involve being an expert in early years, with recent teaching experience, demonstrated by the positive difference you have made to children’s early years outcomes both in your own class and across your school.
You will be working with all of our primary academies and their early years leaders on developing the curriculum and provision across the Trust. You will be responsible for raising standards and ensuring all academies have a high quality early years offer in place which aligns fully with Ofsted’s expectations. You will do this by working alongside leaders and teachers that work in our academies.
