Dulwich College International (DCI) is a mutually supportive and fast growing group of schools providing the highest quality education in partnership with Dulwich College, London. From 2003, when Dulwich College Shanghai opened its doors to 26 students, the group’s enrolment has grown to over 8,000 students, who today attend ten DCI Schools in seven cities across four countries in Asia. The shared values and close collaboration among the Colleges stimulates innovation and encourages an international outlook for students and staff.

Based in DCI’s headquarters located in Singapore and reporting to the Director of the Education Team, the Director of Early Years will promote and support the best Early Years educational theory, practice and learning technology throughout DCI’s group of schools. The Director of Early Years will play a key role in the set-up, staff recruitment, monitoring and support for each of the Dulwich Early Years schools, whilst promoting collaboration across the group in order to ensure best-practice and to further raise the profile of the DCI Early Years programme.

The post provides an outstanding opportunity for a forward-thinking and ambitious educationalist with a passion for working with high-calibre practitioners to impact upon children’s early development in a truly global context. The role should appeal to established leaders with a genuine interest in educational research which informs the delivery of innovative curriculum and cutting-edge learning.

In DUCKS, the child progresses from the Early Years Foundation Stage to an enriched version of the English National Curriculum (ENC), which continues into Junior School.  Senior School starts in Year 7, and from there onwards, students experience specialist teaching that provides a stimulating and challenging learning experience. The IGCSE programme is uniquely taught for three years from Years 9 to 11, while Years 12 and 13 follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
