Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of senior professionals. We seek someone with curriculum, examinations and assessment expertise to provide leadership and direction, develop policy advice and provide a safe and efficient qualifications service.
To succeed you will be degree qualified and possess significant senior management experience, setting strategic direction within the education sector.
Our prime responsibilities are:
Advising Government... On what should be taught in Northern Ireland’s schools and colleges.
Monitoring Standards... Ensuring that the qualifications and examinations offered by awarding bodies in Northern Ireland are of an appropriate quality and standard.
Awarding Qualifications... As Northern Ireland’s leading qualifications provider, we offer a diverse range of qualifications at GCSE and GCE / A-Level. We also offer professional and technical certification.
