The Careers & Enterprise Company was established in 2015 to help link schools and colleges to employers, in order to increase employer engagement for young people. Our mission is to prepare and inspire young people for the fast-changing world of work. 

This is an exciting time at The Careers & Enterprise Company. During our first three years, we have worked with Local Enterprise Partnerships to build a national network which now links 2,000 schools and colleges to employers. We have also funded 150 programmes to provide high-quality employer engagement activities to young people where they are needed most. 

The Director of Education is a critical new role for the company, sitting on our Senior Leadership Team and leading all of our engagement with, and resources for, the education sector. We are looking for an inspirational leader to successfully engage with senior educational stakeholders across England to promote the transformational impact of outstanding careers support for young people. 

Working with the CEO and Deputy CEO, you will shape and deliver the Education Strategy, spanning secondary, special needs, further education and alternative provision and now with pilot work being undertaken at primary stage as well.
